Iridescent curates conversations for young women focusing on: Relationships, Spirituality, Beauty, Wellness, Life, Culture, Advocacy, and Women’s personal stories of brilliance. We’re always looking for writers and we want to share your voice with our community! We are a platform for women and by women, and since our founding in 2018, we have featured over 215 unique writers on our site. If you’ve been writing articles or posting content consistently, have a story to share, an inspirational experience, or practical insights that matter to encourage and empower women, we want to hear from you. Here’s what we’d love your submission to be:
- Real
We are real women committed to real conversations. We believe there is power in laying down masks and sharing openly and honestly. We see vulnerability as a strength, not a weakness. Be honest and authentic in sharing your story and wisdom. Please be sure to properly credit others for quotes, research, and ideas where necessary.
- Encouraging
We believe that every woman is capable of great things and are committed to speaking to the depth of her potential with every conversation. We want to champion each other and seek to encourage and inspire others in their own brilliance. With every conversation, be sure to ignite hope and joy, no matter the circumstances.
- Empowering
We are practical women willing to dig deep and do the work needed to overcome, pioneer, innovate, and bring healing and hope to the world. We believe connection is catalytic and are passionate about inviting as many women as possible to conversations that provoke change. Please be sure to include a single question at the end of the article to spur a meaningful conversation!
- Concise
Our articles are between 600-1200 words. Our videos are 90 seconds-5 mins in length. For all contributions, please include your name, a photo, and a 3-4 sentence bio. Please submit as a Word document and double-check spelling and grammar. All articles will be edited for length, grammar, content, style, and tone. We don’t pay for web articles or video content, but we do include a byline, bio, and photo. Submissions are automatically archived.
