In a digital age filled with filtered selfies, highlight reels, and branded personas, women are often left feeling the pressure to become more aspirational versions of themselves or to conform to society’s narrow minded picture of the ideal woman.
Iridescent Women is changing the narrative for women today. We are fostering online connections where women are celebrated, encouraged, challenged and empowered by other women. We are supporting one another in our struggles, celebrating each other in our successes, and helping each other thrive in life.
OUR STORY
At the beginning of 2018, Nicole and Alex paused from their busy schedules to sit down and dream together, finding a commonality that came in the form of championing women.
Both of their individual careers had already involved investing in young women. But they knew it was time to do more! With the latest wave of extraordinary female empowerment shaping society, they wanted to create a space for women to explore what it really means to live empowered and to pioneer.
A few months later, after many long hours of working and planning that was sustained by a phenomenal team of women and ridiculous amounts of caffeine, Iridescent launched a company of women committed to awakening brilliance within each other!

WHAT TO EXPECT
What’s in a name? Iridescent has a very special meaning for us. It describes an effusion of luminous colors that seem to change when seen from different angles. When light hits it from every angle it shines a different color: just like women. We truly believe every woman’s brilliance is multi-faceted and her potential uncontainable.
And yes, that is how you spell it.
We are committed to speaking to that potential. Our website is designed with this in mind as a platform created for women, by women. Since our launch, we have featured over 350 women from around the world, through their published articles, written and video interviews, our podcast episodes, online webinars, and live events. We are building an online space where women can be real and vulnerable, where authenticity is more than a buzzword, where females of all sizes, skin tones, and seasons of life are celebrated for who they are and not just who they aspire to be or who they are told they ought to be.
How are we doing this? Through relevant articles, videos and resorces exploring topics impacting women today, education around issues of advocacy and justice, discounts and deals from our favorite female led brands, and our podcast episodes from The Iridescent Podcast featuring extraordinary women.
